I guess if we are talking popular radio and what is seen and heard on the television, minus some late night show performances and programs like austin city limits, then yes, most of it is rubbish. but if we are talking contemporary music in general, there is some great stuff out there...definitely more than 5% of all music today. I'd like to write a list of suggestions.

too lazy to find it? if it was really good, i'd be able to hear it on T.V. or the radio without trying. i can't appreciate the music of the day when it usually has no good meaning.
